The stated purpose of the Foundation is as follows:

To assist the intellectually disabled, physically challenged and sight impaired, by providing vocational or educational scholarships, hearing aids, prosthetic devices, Braille materials or any type of equipment, devices or materials beneficial to the intellectually disabled, the physically challenged and sight impaired. In addition, grants may be awarded to other individuals or organizations as deemed appropriate by the board of directors.

The Board meets annually in April. All applications must be received by March 15th to be considered.
